Lauren Harr

A lifelong lover of language, Lauren Harr has worked in the writing and publishing world for 25 years — as undergraduate editorial staff for The Blue Mesa Review, a reporter and reviewer for The Daily Lobo, a bookseller in Asheville and Albuquerque, an assistant at literary nonprofits in Santa Fe, an intern at Graywolf Press, and a marketing assistant and publicist at Coffee House Press. She co-founded Gold Leaf Literary, a business that specializes in education, assistance, and promotion for writers, in 2016. She received an MFA in Fiction from the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing at Spalding University and has presented at the North Carolina Writers Network Conference, Flatiron Writers Room, and the Great Smokies Writing Program at UNC Asheville, among others.
