Making has a transformative impact on people of all ages, skill levels, and position in society. Enabling life-changing experiences through arts and crafts education is what Arrowmont does.

Whether it is a

  • fourth grader whose self-esteem is bolstered by a day of ArtReach,
  • Vietnam vet who ventures out of his basement apartment to take a woodturning class,
  • West Virginia schoolteacher who saves all year long to afford her week at Arrowmont,
  • art student who wants to hone his skills,
  • senior citizen who finds fun and companionship,
  • renowned artist who comes to teach once a year,
  • or a community member exploring creative options
  • all are welcome and all are part of the community that makes up Arrowmont.

When you make an annual gift to Friends of Arrowmont, you are making a positive impact on the life of another person. By giving to Arrowmont you are helping to ensure that arts and crafts education is available to all.

From artists and educators attending national workshops to local children attending Saturday craft classes, when you give to Arrowmont, you are improving the quality of life for all and producing a lasting impact across the country.
