Artist Bio
Maureen (Moe) Aderman is a studio artist and educator in East Amherst, New York. She earned her BS in studio art from Nazareth College of Rochester, and a BA and MFA in art education from the State University College at Buffalo. She taught and assisted classes at various glass art conferences and schools including Snow Farm New England Crafts, Glass Craft and Bead Expo, Hot Glass Horizons, Pittsburg Glass Center, Rochester Arc + Flame Center, and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Aderman serves on the Board of Directors of Snow Farm New England Crafts. Her work is represented by Nazareth College of Rochester and the Algonquin Gallery in Canada as well as many private collections throughout North America. handmadebymoe.com
Workshop Description
Learn about fusing glass in this fun exploration of color and design. We will make ornaments for the occasion of your choice. Imagine a beautiful glass flower hanging in your kitchen window or perhaps you would like to give a friend a holiday gift to hang on a tree. Halloween? Perhaps a glass candy corn. Imagine the possibilities! Students will each go home with multiple beautiful, fun, and unique pieces of glass art. This class is a great way to learn about fusing glass, explore new skills, and express your creativity with glass. The possibilities are endless! Open to all skill levels.
