Workshop Description

Students will learn about the basics of oil painting. The workshop will cover stretching canvas, drawing, painting, and varnishing. Participants will discover a variety of oil painting mediums and ways to properly take care of their finished works. Oil paints have a reputation for being difficult to use and slow drying, however you will learn that does not have to be the case. One-on-one instruction will help students discover their own style. You will leave class with a painting of your own design. Open to all skill levels.
