In this class, students will build narrative busts utilizing hollow building techniques. Through demonstrations, the instructor will show students how to build in ways that allow imagination to take over, in order to build dimensional narratives through complex forms. This workshop will explore self supporting structures, shaping the clay from the inside, out, and how to build with confidence. The instructor will share with information on sculpture clay bodies that will work with you, not against you, and helpful firing schedules when firing large and complex forms.
COURSE FEE: $690
