Students will learn how to hollow build a self-referential bust using an interwoven combination of slab, coil, and pinch. Participants interested in figuration, technique and surface mark making will enhance their ability to understand proportion as it relates to the figure. You should come to class with source material about yourself. Think about how you reveal yourself to others. Can it be as subtle as an expressive pose or gesture or does it take symbol or icon? An inexpensive process is set in place to pack and ship your busts after a bisque fire. Open to all skill levels.
