In this workshop students will use paper and small objects to elevate the surface of their work, bringing in the fun of light and shadow. You will spend the beginning of class making materials through methods of paper weaving, paper scales, folding, and more. Then, participants will use a penetrable but supportive substrate to evolve their piece, blending collage techniques and assemblage. Open to all skill levels.
