Artist Bio
Sally Ault is an award-winning woodturner, who graduated with a degree in art with an emphasis in craft. After a pause to raise a family she started woodturning in 2001. Ault teaches at clubs, schools, and National Symposia and loves helping people get hooked on woodturning. She is an active member of the San Diego Woodturners and the American Association of Woodturners.

Workshop Description
In this workshop students will learn about creating wooden boxes and lidded bowls utilizing an appealing form that is also functional. The class will focus on good design and how to improve your skill at using tools. Adding creative embellishments will provide a personal touch to your finished pieces. Participants will also work on a number of different types of knobs and finials. At the end of class, you will be a better woodturner. Some turning experience required.
