Workshop Description
During this workshop students will create a champleve pendant from start to finish. You will first learn how to saw and fuse fine silver bases. After fabricating the foundation, you will create your own cloisonné wires and inlay them into the fine silver base. Participants will then add layers of colored enamels to complete their design. The focus of adding the enamels will be on getting great transparency and clarity of color. Open to all skill levels, however some enameling and/or metalsmithing experience is preferred.
