Artist Bio
Brandon J. Donahue is a visual artist working in painting, assemblage, and sculpture and lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his BS from Tennessee State University and his MFA from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Donahue has exhibited nationally and internationally including the 13th annual Havana Biennial in Matanzas, Cuba in 2019. He recently completed an artist residency at the David C. Driskell Center in College Park, Maryland where he painted a mural commemorating the late David C. Driskell.

Workshop Description
In this workshop students will discover several types of airbrushes, air sources, safety, preparation, and airbrush media. You will learn the basics of freehand airbrushing using a double action airbrush, use of stencils, color blending, and letting techniques Participants will be encouraged to airbrush on different surfaces and with multi-media. The class is for those curious in exploring the airbrush as a pressurized mark-making tool. Open to all skill levels.
