Put A Lid On It
October 25, 2019 – October 31, 2019
In this workshop students will turn lidded containers in many shapes and sizes from a very small pill box to a large lidded bowl. The focus is on creating good form that is functional. You will explore different lid styles and create the proper lid fit for the function of the container. Participants will explore a variety of knobs, handles and finials and experiment with textures and embellishments to transform the containers from ordinary to awesome. Some turning experience is helpful, however open to all skill levels.
COURSE FEE: $675
