The New World Order of Tapestry

August 4, 2019 – August 10, 2019

Jennifer Sargent

Woven tapestry can introduce a new world order into your life – a slower paced world that allows for contemplation of the possibilities of tapestry making. In this workshop students learn tapestry techniques including discontinuous wefts and how to choose and blend colors in the weft bundle or with hatching. You will see your ideas come alive as you combine color, texture and shape. Participants will leave class with numerous ideas and samples and having learned some tricks of the tapestry trade. Open to all skill levels.
