The Visual Voice
October 14, 2018 – October 20, 2018
This is a call to action! The workshop encourages each student to explore how their voice can be expressed using fabric as canvas and non-toxic, and versatile, textile pigments as “pens.” Words, colors, textures, bold brush strokes and small intimate marks all speak the participant’s truth and satisfy the need to express. Demonstrations and exercises introduce the versatility of textile pigments and a variety of tools are present to create text, texture and words on fabric. Students should bring journal writings, favorite quotes and images to find their voice during the workshop. Open to all skill levels.
COURSE FEE: $525
