Shake and Shoot: Powdercoating Two Ways

September 16, 2018 – September 22, 2018

Rachel Shimpock

Why settle on just one Powercoat application method? We will explore 2! Powdercoat is durable and versatile! It can be applied to metal, glass, wood, cork, shells, stone, concrete…anything that can fit a common toaster oven and withstand 400 degrees. After the base coat is laid MANY manipulations can be made to take it to the next level. Practice, talking with experts and time have allowed me powdery wisdom to share with you. So many fun tips, tricks and stories of victory and failure sure to comfort and push you forward to success! Techniques will be mastered; color conquered, laughs will be had. All levels welcome!

Rachel Kassia Shimpock is currently a Professor of Metals and Jewelry at California State University Long Beach, California where she received her BFA in Metals and Jewelry.
