In Between, Drawing and Textile
September 16, 2018 – September 22, 2018
During this workshop students will discover drawing as a resource for textiles and vice versa. Participants will shift between drawing with pens and pencils, and using fiber and other flexible, linear materials. You will draw using lines, layers or piecing as strategies for approaching abstract subjects such as time, motion, or mapping. Critical discussion, slide presentations and one-on-one guidance are included. Open to all skill levels. Experience beyond beginning level in textiles or drawing is helpful.
COURSE FEE: $525
