September 9, 2018 – September 15, 2018
In this workshop students create sculptural vessels with attention to storytelling, narration, mythology, symbolic language, history, drawing, painting and sculpture. The exploration of various methods and concepts allows students to compose a dynamic sculptural vessel. Specific techniques explored include the translation of drawing via transfer, stencil and direct mark making in clay, and design methods. Participants should come to class with preliminary drawings and a story to work from. Open to all skill levels.
COURSE FEE: $525
