In this workshop students will make five distinctive baskets while exploring various types of Japanese basket styles using both round and flat weaving elements. Techniques demonstrated include randing, twining and twill weave, along with how to add interesting embellishments. This is a good survey class for students interested in learning about the wide variety of Japanese techniques. Perfect for beginners to advanced weavers. Open to all skill levels.
