Hollow Paper Sculpture
August 5, 2018 – August 11, 2018
This workshop is an in-depth exploration of sculpting with paper. Students will study the contemporary and historical uses of this medium while they conduct technical exercises and develop their own language with paper. The course focuses on casting paper forms from objects to create seemingly weightless assemblages that can be painted, cut into, collaged onto, etc. Other sculpting techniques may also be discussed. There will be critiques and group discussions as the work evolves. This course is open to all levels.
COURSE FEE: $525
