Trash To Treasure: Explorations In Thrifty Materials
July 22, 2018 – July 28, 2018
Using everyday materials such as string, wire, paper, scrap fabric, natural items and beyond, students in this workshop transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. You will learn techniques including crocheting, sewing, quilting and sculptural basketry to create expressive sculptural objects. Participants will interrogate the idea of collection, site and the history of materials. During the workshop, you will play, develop your own voice and challenge yourself to experiment wildly. Open to all skill levels.
COURSE FEE: $525
