Painting Small and Often
July 15, 2018 – July 21, 2018
This workshop is an introduction to miniature painting. Students in this detail-oriented class learn about small composition design, the use of watercolor compared to other mediums, and the value of artistic accountability and production. There is an emphasis on completing daily work and the possibility of preparing both miniature and full-sized frames. Demonstrations and one-on-one instruction are designed to address the individual needs of participants. You should come prepared to push the boundaries of your productivity and to create intimate paintings that capture moments from your time at Arrowmont. Open to all skill levels.
COURSE FEE: $525
