July 8, 2018 – July 14, 2018
In this workshop students use the figure as a starting point for telling stories. Working with narrative, it’s easy to remember that art is a type of play. You will begin drawing sketches to push your technical abilities, then use those sketches as the basis for larger works. Participants will discover different drawing techniques and materials, including painting and collage. Working from live models, photos and natural objects, students will build on their strengths to find an artistic voice. Open to all skill levels.
COURSE FEE: $525
