Nicholas H. Ruth
During this workshop students explore a range of monoprint and monotype techniques to develop a highly personal approach to making unique prints. Monoprints encourage vibrant and luminous color, rich textures and spontaneous mark making. You will discover basic and intermediate techniques, including layering transparent color, hand cutting stencils, offsetting textures, trace monotype drawing and more. Through the ongoing development of a visual vocabulary and set of visual effects, participants will push their compositional ideas to make a powerful expression. Open to all skill levels.
COURSE FEE: $525
