Mary Obodzinski’s work is handbuilt using a slab roller and fingers to coax clay into vessels. No two pieces are ever the same. Obodzinski’s work has been published in a wide range of books including Handbuilt Ceramics and 500 Raku, both by Lark Books. Her work is highly collectible and is found in the collections of Southland Corporation, Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, McHenry County Government Building and Illinois Artisans Conference Room, State of Illinois Building. She has participated in many exhibitions across the United States. Obodzinski lives and works in Chicago, IL.
