Born and raised in upstate New York, Ted received his MFA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and his BFA from Utah State University. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions including: Earth Matters NCECA 2010 Invitational in Philadelphia, PA, Strictly Functional Pottery National in East Petersburg PA, Forms and Shapes: The Useful Teapot at AKAR Gallery in Iowa City, IA, NCECA Clay National in Columbus, OH. Previously he worked as adjunct professor at SIUE, and technician at USU. Ted is currently a studio artist, kiln builder, and has been a Professor of Ceramics at Ball State University since 2006.
