Stephanie Lanter


Stephanie Lanter is an artist and educator who works in clay, fiber, mixed media, and words. She is an assistant professor of Ceramics at the Hartford Art School in Connecticut, and formerly taught at Emporia State University in Kansas. Lanter received an MFA from Ohio University and a BA from Xavier University. She has had art residencies at the Red Lodge Clay Center, the Archie Bray Foundation, Arrowmont’s Pentaculum, the LH Project, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and the Mendocino Arts Center, and Jentel. Along with exhibiting and demonstrating her sculptural work internationally, she has given numerous workshops and presentations, including for NCECA, ArtAxis, and CAA.
