Juan Carlos Caballero-Perez is a metal artist and professor in the Metals and Jewelry Design Program at Rochester Institute of Technology and received his MFA and BFA from there. His work is in several publications including On Body and Soul: Contemporary Armor to Amulets, and 500 Bracelets. Caballero-Perez is a New York State Foundation of the Arts Fellowship Recipient and a Craft Alliance of New York State Career Development Grant Recipient.
