Charlie Ryland is a full time woodworker specializing in traditional hand tool techniques and working with freshly felled “green” wood. His work focuses primarily on Windsor style chairs, turned wooden ware on a foot powered lathe and hand carved spoons. Charlie studied Fine Furniture and Cabinet Making at the North Bennet Street School before serving a series of apprenticeships under established green woodworkers around the country.
