Create a unique wooden tapestry-like artwork of your own design. For beginners and experienced woodworkers alike, students receive individual assistance to construct their fluid wooden piece. Students in this class use woodshop machinery including the table saw, band saw, chop saw, and drill press, and learn necessary woodshop safety techniques. There is an option to paint wood pieces before tying them together utilizing weaving and knot-tying techniques. Students leave with their flexible wooden artwork and a variety of skill sets.
