Winter blues have you down? Come try your hand at making small hand brooms that will be sure to come in handy for spring cleaning. Students make up to two hand brooms and learn tying and stitching techniques to create beautiful and useful tools for your home.
Instructor ∙ Rebecca Buglio
Rebecca Buglio was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She has an MFA in ceramics from Rhode Island School of Design (’16) and a BA in art with concentrations in K-12 art education and studio art, ceramics from Berry College (’13). She enjoys teaching children and adult ceramic and broom making courses that use a variety of techniques while exploring nature for inspiration. She has shown in galleries across the United States and was a 2021 Hambidge Fellow. Rebecca currently resides in the Smoky Mountain region of Tennessee. She is program and studio manager at Arrowmont.
