Create hand-bound photo albums with purpose. Students are encouraged to bring family photographs, old letters, and other personal ephemera to create a unique photo album to house them. Students learn basic bookbinding techniques, focusing on the look and function of each album based on what they will hold inside. We will discuss the importance of the physical family photo album and resurrect the practice of maintaining them with an artful and intentional eye.
