Many of Arrowmont’s staff members are makers, craftspeople, and artists themselves. While a background in art-making is not a requirement for a position at Arrowmont, it is usually a passion for art and craft that motivates people to seek out employment at the school. If not a maker, many of Arrowmont’s additional staff members are art appreciators and collectors. It is hard not to find inspiration on a daily basis when working at a place like Arrowmont. Featuring works made with a variety of materials and techniques such as paper-making, ceramics, woodworking, drawing, bookmaking, quilting, and collage, this exhibit reflects the diverse interests and talents of its staff members.
