Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts launches a new gallery in downtown Knoxville, Trudy Hughes, Arrowmont chief executive officer announced. The Arrowmont Gallery is the first permanent off-campus exhibition space for the School. Hours will expand but current hours are First Fridays, 5:00 – 9:00 pm. Contact Gallery Manager Heather F. Fiber artists will be featured in the Arrowmont Gallery in Knoxville as part of the 25th Convergence Conference, hosted by the Handweaver’s Guild of America.

A two-person exhibit includes weavings by Marianne Fairbanks and fiber art by Lisa Klakulak.

Work After Work offers a glimpse into the talent and diverse creative practices of Arrowmont staff members, who in addition to their administrative roles are notable artists in their respective disciplines. Work After Work features pieces made in a variety of materials and techniques, this exhibit honors those creative practices of those employed by Arrowmont.
