Community Classes · January, 2016 - February, 2016
Community Classes are an opportunity for local residents to take advantage of Arrowmont’s quality art instruction in professionally equipped studios. Classes are fun, relaxed, and a great way to meet new friends in a creative learning environment. Whether you want to enhance your child’s art experiences, start a new hobby, or are already an established artist looking to grow, community classes are sure to light your creative spark. Classes are taught by Arrowmont’s Artists-in-Residence, and local and regional artists. Classes offer a wide selection of media for all ages and ability levels. Students have access to their studio on class days from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

NEW THIS YEAR! Spring Holiday Workshops

Gather friends and family to share creative time making art at Arrowmont this spring. With seven workshops offered in a variety of media, everyone is sure to find a skill or medium they want to explore. These workshops are designed for adults and children working independently or together - no experience necessary. Join us for a kids egg hunt and adult social hour immediately following workshops!

Children and Young Adult Classes
Children and Young Adult Classes meet for five consecutive Saturdays, January 23-February 20.
The class fee includes the cost of all instruction and materials.

Most classes welcome students at all levels however a few require experience or specific skills. That information is included in the class description. Those with more experience are welcome to join any class with the understanding that they will participate in class projects and use the materials and equipment provided within the format of the class.
All classes require special materials, most are available in the Artists Outfitters Store. A materials list is provided to students with their registration confirmation Students are responsible for the cost of materials. Some shared materials will be provided and that cost is included in the class fee.
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-registered basis. Class size is limited—early registration is recommended. Registration is by phone—865.436.5860.
A limited number of scholarships based on financial need are available for adult and children’s classes. Please submit a letter at the time of registration explaining why you or your child should be considered for a scholarship.
