Scholarships

These scholarships cover full tuition for a one-week workshop. Qualifications for a scholarship include financial need and commitment to personal artistic goals. Skill in a particular medium is not required. All skill levels may apply for scholarships. Recipients are responsible for the costs of fees, lodging and meals.

These scholarships that cover the cost of attending a one-week workshop. These scholarships are for promising, talented students who could not attend Arrowmont without financial assistance. Applicants must provide images of their work.

An annual scholarship fund, originally established through the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club of Nashville. C.A. Edwards has been a significant Arrowmont supporter for more than 20 years. Charlotte Ann Eckel Edwards Scholarships cover 100% of tuition for a one-week workshop of the awardees choice.

For those who’ve served, this scholarship covers 100% of a one-week workshop tuition, meals and housing for a one-week workshop. The scholarship is for returning or disabled soldiers, or a financially deserving student who is pursuing woodturning. Open to all skill levels.

This unique scholarship opportunity offers 100% of a one-week workshop tuition, meals and basic housing for at least one kitchen work-study student annually to attend a workshop at Arrowmont. To apply, potential awardees may self-nominate or be nominated by an Arrowmont staff member, instructor, or other member of the Arrowmont community. Applicants will complete a letter detailing their interest, including their top three workshop choices.

Created for our Community Class attendees, this scholarship covers 100% of tuition for at least one adult community class and one child community class annually. Preference will be given to those individuals with an interest in woodworking and woodturning and who have financial need. This scholarship is available for residents of Sevier County, Tennessee only.

The Fleur Bresler Scholarship Endowment covers 100% of tuition for children with financial need, artistic interest and commitment to attending classes at Arrowmont. This scholarship is available for any child locally that is interested in art classes, they do not need to be living in Sevier County.
