ArtReach & Artists-in-Schools
These enriching programs, stewarded by the resident artists, impact over 4,000 Sevier County school children each year. ArtReach affords the opportunity for students to take a field trip to Arrowmont for a day of hands-on art making in our main studios. The Artists-in-Schools program travels two residents to a school for the day-- meeting with each art class to demonstrate techniques, show slides of artwork and possibly lead creative exercises. Participation in these programs is strongly encouraged. Funding for these programs is provided by Citizens National Bank, Tennessee Arts Commission and East Tennessee Foundation.
Workshops
Residents may enroll in two weeks of workshops with tuition waived during the residency term.
