Even though most of your time while at Arrowmont will probably be spent working in the studios, comfortable accommodations and satisfying meals are not overlooked. Hearty and nutritious meals await you three squares a day, and because Arrowmont's campus is arranged with housing and studio buildings in close proximity to one another, you don't have to go far to retire for a rejuvenating night's sleep. A stay on campus provides you the freedom for total immersion and alleviates daily considerations for travel and meals.
"The experience showed me what a luxury it is to give your work complete and undivided attention. When you're at Arrowmont you don't have to worry about all of your daily chores and obligations. You get a full day, sun up to sun down, to work on your stuff. That was a great luxury." -Jonathan Marshall
Several housing options are offered to meet a variety of students' needs from single rooms with private baths to more economical dormitory rooms accommodating more students and shared baths. Room requests are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. All housing packages include meals, however, if you wish to lodge off-campus, tickets for individual meals may be purchased in advance. Although we cannot provide special options for everyone, we do provide vegetarian meal choices.
