College Credit Information

Arrowmont is currently working with Walters State Community College to allow students who have a minimum of a high school diploma to obtain undergraduate freshman and sophomore college credit for select Arrowmont workshops.

How to Register

Complete the Walters State admissions paperwork in advance of your workshop or upon check-in. We will process all paperwork for you with fees payable to Arrowmont when you arrive. Contact Arrowmont at 865-436-5860 to request an application form in advance or if you have any questions.

Walters State fees are as follows:

Application fee: $10
Credit hour fees: $15 per credit hour (3 credit hour workshop is $45)
You will receive three credit hours per applicable one-week workshop.

Credit through the University of Tennessee:

Credit for selected workshops at Arrowmont is available through the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Please contact the registar's office at UT for more information. Please consult UT for their fee schedule and listing of approved workshops.
